Ezra Virunas
Ezra Virunas has one goal—kill the demon who plans to end the world, and in return, he’ll be afforded his freedom. Never mind that Ezra needs to use Maeve's soul as bait to close the case. Ezra knows just how deceitful women can be, and he's sure Maeve will be no different. However, he's mistaken, and despite fighting against it, her pure heart soon becomes a light to his darkened past. But will Maeve survive Hell, and if so, will she come back the same person? He isn't sure, but he is confident of one thing; when Maeve learns the truth, she’ll kill him. That is if he doesn't give his life to protect hers first.
Maeve’s Thoughts
Ezra Virunas is broken and reclusive, but by God, he is handsome. He looks like a Greek God of the evening sun. His skin, kissed by the radiant glow of the sun at sunset. His chestnut hair sweeps past the jaw I wish to caress, and his eyes, my favorite part of him, are like the color of honey catching the evening sun.
His looks are like a poem written for the Gods, but his moody temperament is like a bad song you can't stop thinking about. I wouldn’t say Ezra's an ass entirely. He's- how do I put this- guarded, especially with his heart. He tries to come off as distant and cold, but at times his eyes deceive him as they sometimes reflect faith in life and love, especially when I catch him looking at me.
